Back by popular request, the afterschool participants used perler beads to create fun designs. Miss Bailey, a high school library volunteer, made her favorite lovable dog–Snoopy. Fun fact–Bailey attended this same afterschool program when she was in elementary school! She is now a senior at DHS and will graduate in May.

Our featured author of the month is Ann H. Gabhart. She writes inspirational books that are set in a Shaker Village in the 1800’s, as well as a series set in 1960’s small town America. The kids display contains books and jokes that will tickle a kiddo’s funny bone. The adult display is a collection of books whose titles begin with the letter “T”. Recently added adult non-fiction books are displayed on our “New and True” bookcase. Stop by and check out a book!
