We will be needing baked goods (homemade or purchased) for the Friends of the Library Cake Walk fundraiser. You may drop off your items at the library on Thursday, October 5 from 9:00-5:00 or at the Community Building on Saturday morning, October 7, prior to the start of the fundraiser. Jerelyn Ramirez from the Kansas Astronomical Observers Club and a NASA Eclipse Ambassador recently visited Seal Elementary students to discuss the upcoming annular eclipse and total eclipse. K-5th grade students received a pair of eclipse glasses. The library also has eclipse glasses if you would like a pair. Ms. Ramirez has been instrumental in helping the library acquire the Orion Starblast Telescope which is in our collection and is available for 2 week loan to patrons. Fall is a great time to view the night sky!
