Douglass Public Library

Bakers get ready. We’re going to need a supply of baked goods for the upcoming Friends of the Library annual cakewalk fundraiser during Frontier Day. This fundraiser helps Friends of the Library support a variety of library programs and needs throughout the year. The cakewalk will be located in the Community Building this year. Other Frontier Day activities include a parade, kid’s corral, rope and run event, BBQ cook-off and much more. Check out the Douglass Events Committee Facebook page for more details.

This is a great opportunity for homeschool parents and students to listen to a well-known and popular author of children’s and young adult fiction books. The presentations are individualized for the specific age group. Reserve your seat(s) by signing up in person at the Douglass Public Library or emailing Mrs. Glidewell. Deadline is October 1, 2023.
