LET (Library Explorers on Thursday) are Staying Busy
Kids in the Thursday after school program have been using different mediums to create some very interesting projects. Bean mosaics honed fine motor skills into some pretty cool animals.
A toaster oven turned plastic cups and sharpie drawings into shrinky dinks that magically flattened into a completely different form! Amazing!
October Book Displays
Our featured author of the month is Beverly Lewis. She is a well known American novelist of christian fiction who began writing short stories and poetry when she was nine years old. The kids display invites kiddos to “slow down and read a book” in honor of Sloth Day on October 20. The adult display features book titles relating to computers and technology. Recently added adult non-fiction books are displayed on our “New and True” bookcase. Stop by and check out a book!
